their first bit. This was only me second time making rice crispy's and its just so easy. I think this will be a halloween favorite.
4 tbps butter
1 (10 oz) bag marshmallows
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
6 cups crispy rice cereal
1 cup rough chopped candy corn
Spray 13x9 glass pan and a rubber spatula with a non stick spray.
In a medium sized sauce pan over low heat, add butter to melt. Once melted add marshmallows, salt, and vanilla. Stir continuously until the marshmallows have reached a smooth consistency. Remove from heat and fold in the cereal and candy corns until completely coated.
Add the mixture to the greased baking dish and smooth out evenly. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.

I can't wait to make mine. Probably next Monday to bring to scouts on Tuesday. Your pics make me miss the munchkins!
I've only had plain rice crispies and I loved the addition of candy corn, or in my case, candy pumpkins. Definitely a huge hit with the kids (and adults).
Mom you will see them soon. With the added candy corn it made it extra sweet. Both my kids just loved it. The funny part was they wanted to eat it with a fork.
